The central location is good and being able to park the car in a garage was a bonus. It is also very good value for money at £28 for bed and breakfast.
When I arrived at the time I had indicated they seemed unaware that I was coming. I had to produce the print out of the booking I had taken with me. This was removed from me without comment, and the landlady disappeared into a side room before emerging a few minutes later with the card machine. After the money had been debited I was handed the keys and told the room was upstairs, there was no welcome and it was easy to feel I was no more than a nuisance. The room itself was large with three single beds and it was very comfortable. It was odd however that the sink in the room (the toilet was on the landing outside) did not have a plug!

It was very messy. The general ambiance of the place was not good. the room was clean but not nicely decorated. An old razor and toothbrush left in the bathroom for instance. The landings were full of boxes and, worryingly the fire extinguisher outside our room was taped up!

We had a really lovely stay at this low-cost hotel. It was right by the center and the train station, a great and absolutely perfect location overall. - the food was gorgeous and fabulous, really enjoyed it.

Very hard to find anything best... It had a fridge and ironing board on landing which was usefull.
No plug in basin in room. Loads of dust behind bed and on top of cupboards. Man being sick in shared bathroom and making loads of noise.... (I used the bathroom on other side of landing.) Fight in street at 1 in morning, followed by another later (area?). No parking. not welcomed on arrival, not sure if expected.. Money to pay was priority. Told check out was 10.00am on my printout said 10.30am. I did not Take breakfast.

Comfortable room. dining room and breakfast very good.
You do not say about the guest house being on three floors with lots of stairs, also it is up a hill, very good for young ones but people over a certain age not suitable.

Parking is about 100m away. Road outside has double yellow lines so a single traveller may have problems if having much or bulky luggage. Also steep path up from roadway could be a problem for tose with disabulities. Not suitable for the disabled.
